We are looking forward seeing you all at the Waitohi Community Hub grand opening next weekend on December 14!
Not sure where to go? Check out this 3D map of the new building. We'll be meeting at the courtyard entrance (near the carpark) at 7am for the official opening ceremony before moving inside where you can explore the new Library and Common Ground cafe!

Once again the usual people are putting their bins out without securing the lids , bloody rubbish all over . Please use your brains and get one of the rubber clips , next time I screw the damn lid down then at least we know your recycling is still at your place

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
