Open Mic Night Poetry/Spoken Word
Spoken Word/Poetry NightEnjoy an evening of spoken word at the ‘Open Mic’ night at the Helensville Community Church, 40 Mill Road, 7pm Saturday 27th April $3 cover charge Bring a plate and something to read/share. Original writing or a favourite piece. Also a book Launch for local author L.J. Bernard. Hear excerpts from her novel ‘Insurmountable Faith’, which follows the journey of Gemma as she struggles to cope with her husband after he sustains a serious head injury.
