Kerikeri Road works

Paul from Kerikeri District

Proposed new Road sign to replace the existing "Seal Repairs" sign on Kerikeri Road near the Access Road intersection.

My question is:
When are road repairs not Road repairs? These signs, on either side of the road, have been there for months now. I tell you, if this was Auckland there would have been a new surface in no time. Do I suspect that the council or contractors are waiting for the week before Christmas to start the actual work!

Poll: Could we live without public bins?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Many public rubbish bins are being removed by councils due to the large costs of regularly emptying them. Do you think we can adapt and live without them?

Type 'Not For Print' if you wish your comments to be excluded from the We Say You Say column of your local paper.

Bay Chronicle

Alan from Kerikeri District

What has happened to the Bay Chronicle, I've seen no notice of it being closed down, but neither have I seen a copy anywhere since mid-March?
