car being towed and ticketed from park and rides

Martin from Stanmore Bay

I was walking through albany park and ride and have witnessed a new low from Auckland council . I watched as the tow trucks roam the parking lot like vultures waiting for their next victim while the parking wardens ticket cars that havnt been parked quite right spot and having them towed. How about Auckland transport and Auckland council use that energy to actually help and solve the parking problem anstead of fighting everyone and making it difficult to use public transport. Its out of control. They don't want people to park along the road next to paddocks and started charging 1 dollar an hour which on a full working day equates to about $50 per week plus the bus ticket. Earlier this year you also put up the price to use the bus. Does Auckland d council actually want people to use public transport. I really have my doubts they do. Instead of fighting how about male it easy. Lower public transport prices. You will still make money as more people use it. Build multistory parking so people can. Use the bus without having the extra stress of some silly fine for trying to do the right things. Right across the road from albamy station. Is a great big empty paddock build a multistory there. Do the right thing for a change, get you head out of the sand and actually make using public transport easier for people instead of fighting your taxpayers who are trying to do the right thing.

Say goodbye to tyre waste

Tyrewise

About 40% of the 6.5 million tyres Kiwis use every year are recycled, repurposed, or used as tyre-derived fuel. But the rest end up in landfills, stockpiled or dumped.

The good news is now there’s an easy solution to all that tyre waste. It’s called Tyrewise and is New Zealand’s first national tyre recycling scheme.

Tyrewise ensures that tyres in Aotearoa New Zealand are recycled or repurposed properly, saving millions from going to the landfill.

Find out more about the scheme online.

Free Session How to find your ideal life coach

Steve Brown from Hibiscus Life Coaching

A good life coach will help you make the most of your life, and prosper through life’s challenges. For example; building healthy relationships, career goals, change and loss, managing stress and work-life balance. Helping you clear away the clouds to let the sunshine in.

But how to find your ideal coach?

To get positive results you need to feel you are comfortable sharing your innermost feelings and desires. Your coach really needs to ‘get’ you so that so they can effectively support and motivate you in the journey towards the goals you choose.

Fortunately, most life coaches give you the chance to ‘try before you buy’ and offer an introductory free session. Check through local life coaches on the net and check out a couple with a free session to find one you feel most comfortable with.

Costs for ongoing sessions can vary quite widely but some coaches offer a discounted rate if you are on a limited income. It’s good to check.
