Invitation to the Village

Waiohiki Creative Arts Village

Kia Ora Neighbours,
we are having a free community Arts and Culture event here at the Waiohiki Arts Village on Saturday night, 19th October, and would love you to come along.

At 6.30pm we are having an introduction to Pōwhiri for anyone who has always wanted to take part in this lovely welcoming ceremony but hasn't had the opportunity.
Then we have Arts demonstrations; a live Bronze pour, open studios and galleries, Raku firing and a pit firing of ceramics.
listen to some very talented local musicians, buy hāngi or other delicious hot food, bring a drum and join our community bonfire and drum jam at 9pm
Come and see our village, meet our many Artists and chat to them about their work, relax with other lovely people in our community, we are looking forward to meeting you.
For hāngi bookings or any other information phone or text Ally on 0279218652

Lest we forget...

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
