Burglary victim forced to solve own case
Burglary and identity theft victim Rowan Miller took to solving the case with her friend after allegedly, Police did not act on information.
The friend said the sergeant implied the incident wasn't important, and she questions "What do you do if they don't take something like this seriously - if someone takes someone's identity and starts clocking up tens of thousands of dollars - where are we heading as a society?".
It is the second time in less than a week Police have apologised for not handling a burglary correctly.
Poll: Are Kiwis bad drivers?
Each country has its own idiosyncrasies when it comes to driving and New Zealand is no different.
With daily near-misses, people incorrectly indicating at roundabouts and a lack of stopping at stop signs, it begs the question: Are Kiwis actually not that good at driving?
