Free Home Fire Safety Visits

Fire Safety from Fire Safety - Wellington Region

Annually Fire and Emergency NZ attend an average of 5226 residential property fires, resulting in 262 injuries and 19 fatalities. The average house can become totally involved in fire within 5 minutes, un-survivable in as little as 3 min and reach temperatures in excess of 1200 degrees Celsius (4 times hotter than the average oven).
Fire and Emergency NZ offer FREE Home Fire Safety Visits, which includes advice on speed of fire, escape plans and working smoke alarms. We can clean, test and ensure they are installed in the correct location. You may also qualify for a free smoke alarm.
To arrange your personal visit, email FENZWellington@fireandemergency.nz with your address and contact details. Regards, your local Fire Safety Team

Stamps wanted

Marty from Johnsonville

I run a Stamp club at Tawa School to encourage children to collect stamps and learn about countries, history and more. Unfortunately new stamps aren't often seen these days as it's all electronic! If you have any stamps or old collections sitting around, let me know and I'll come and get them.
