Home based childcare

Joanne from Arkles Bay

Hi,
I run a happy, positive fun and educational home based child care. This is a small group size with a maximum of four children under six, never more than two children under two years. I follow an educational programmes that is developed for each child. I'm a young healthy grandmother that loves hanging out with the little ones, the children develop a lovely caring relationship with me, and I come their adopted grandmother. I'm a mother of six, three being my step children they are now successful young adults. I have five beautiful grandchildren. I do alot of family activities with the children such as library visits, and lots of trips to the park and the beach which provide valuable learning experiences for children. The child’s own routines are able to be carried out in my home. Education and care is provided in a calm and familiar environment allowing children to build trust. Flexibility of hours—care can be arranged to suit parent’s needs. If you are interested in having a chat with me please ring Nanny Jo 021 0244 7524

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
