larva in brown rice
I buy an Australian brown rice from Pak and Save and second time I found larva crawling in it. informed Pak and Save last time (last year) and they refunded the money. this year I emailed them, they want the batch number, I do not have the packet. I emailed Ministry of Primary Industry and sent video from my phone. they identified the larva and left it there. phoned Citizens Advice Bureau who said to speak to Pak and Save. I am not wanting a refund. I am concerned they are bringing this rice and it is full of larva. I soak my rice and wash it several times, hence could catch them, others may not be so careful. I know they are not poisonous but who wants to eat them. can anyone tell me what to do about this.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
