www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz.... We have our current rules now that prohibit camping in our reserves and residential streets except in designated areas. There is the Reserves Act 1977 and the regional bylaw 20 Public Places. Auckland Council are looking to revoke our current bylaw 20 plus over turn protections in 87 reserves across Auckland that are currently protected by the Reserves Act 1977 to allow freedom camping.
