Committee Vacancy - Communications and Marketing
We are looking for a person to take on the volunteer role of communications and marketing coordinator on the Toy Library Committee. You will be responsible for promoting our Toy Library, including compiling the e-newsletter three times a year, writing a short, quarterly magazine article and supporting our digital coordinator with the Facebook and Neighbourly pages. The ideal person will enjoy writing and communications. Experience with MailChimp and social media is desirable, but not essential and training will be provided. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
