ReUSING Aluminium Cans
Going out to the wider neighbourhoods, so apologies for the double post.!
Evening all! Aluminium Cans! Beer Cans, Soda Cans... Anything a magnet won't stick to, that isn't plastic :) (not food cans for example)
I've got a project underway that requires vast amounts of aluminium. Each can provides aluminium about the same size of a 10 cent piece. So! I'm looking for hundreds of cans, but every ONE will help.
If you have a few aluminium cans put them aside - once you've got 10 or more, drop me a line and I'll come pick them up, or drop them at my letterbox down Gerontius Lane (msg me for more info!)
If anyone knows any place of business that would go through a reasonable amount of canned drinks, and is happy to put them aside I will gladly collect. Having tried the recycle depot and cited health and safety(fair enough) and contacted a large number of bars and restaurants everyone seems to have gone glass
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
