Should shops choose not to sell fireworks in support of public displays?

Hey Neighbours,

Taihape New World's decided not to sell fireworks this year, and is asking customers to support the public Mangaweka Fireworks Display instead. What do you guys think about that? And have you spotted any other places that usually sell fireworks promoting a similar decision?
