Local author's BOOK LAUNCH invitation

Sylvia from Torbay - Long Bay

Hi neighbours, You're invited to come help me celebrate the launch of my new kids' book I AM SUPER ME on Sunday 28th October in the Bays! It's a free fun afternoon from 2pm (plate for afternoon tea appreciated) - and I'll be explaining my KIWI SUPERKIDS' PROJECT too which you might like to be part of. It's to gift free copies (that I provide) to as many pre-school centres as possible so the all-important message of self-esteem, confidence and an "I CAN DO IT" attitude that will last their whole lives through, is developed in as many youngsters as possible. :-) Please text for details: 021 259 4491 Sylvia Vowless QSM. I'll also have copies of my double-Award winning adult version book 'THE MIRACLE EFFECT' available too - both are fantastic Christmas gifts!!!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
