Help tell the history of Auckland & WIN!

The Team from RE:TRACE

We're RE:TRACING the history of Onehunga, Panmure and Wynyard Quarter and need YOUR help now!

Historical imagery doesn't have to be in black and white, it can be anything around or before the 2000s. Think your yearbook photos, you looking stoked in front of your first car or even your mum gardening in her retro fashion. Anything goes, they just have to be taken in Onehunga, Panmure and Wynyard Quarter.

When you submit your image/s before 23 September, let us know you're from Neighbourly and you could win a $100 petrol voucher!

If you have any questions or need help digitising an image email rebecca@retrace.co.nz.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
