Auckland motorway closures coming up - August 19-25
The NZ Transport Agency advises of a number of closures for motorway improvements. Locations include Northern Motorway (SH1), Sothern Motorway (SH1), Northwestern Motorway (SH16), George Bolt Memorial Drive (SH20A), Upper Harbour Motorway (SH18). Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday 24th August 2018.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
