Safer Plates April 23rd 10:00-1:00

Administration Office from Neighbourhood Support Auckland

Stealing number plates in Auckland will be much harder for thieves as a bid to reduce thefts. The NZ Police and Neighbourhood Support have a Safer Plates initiative on Monday April 23rd Monday 10:00 am -1:00 pm at Pt Chevalier Countdown Carpark.
This allows members of the public to get their regular number plate screws replaced for only a small donation of $4.00 per vehicle and fitted with special security screws.

Our next event is May 23 Wednesday 10:00-1:00 Safe Plate Greenlane Countdown carpark.

The last event before winter is on June 27th Wednesday 10:00-1:00 Safe Plate Mt Albert Pak N Save carpark.
Stay Safe and see you all soon.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
