Mini Golf at The Enchanted Forest!
Hi neighbours. I want to let you in on a secret. Tucked away beside the Countdown carpark in Onehunga is The Enchanted Forest, a newly renovated outdoor mini golf course. The 18 hole course is nestled inside a beautiful park-like setting. Charming flower beds and newly planted gardens are woven throughout the course and grounds.
When I took over 3 years ago, the place had definitely seen better days. With a lot of hard work I've transformed it into a fun and entertaining family day out. Our aim right from the start was to create a low cost, relaxing and fun atmosphere. If our online reviews are anything to go by, we think we're well on the way!
Relax in the BBQ picnic area with a packed lunch, or book the area for a kid's party, for free! Open 7 days a week throughout the summer; available for private functions and after hours parties by request. How about unlimited mini golf, music to bop along to and a yummy BBQ or pizza afterwards for your next after work event?
If you can handle a bit more excitement we have recently added a minicars track for 2-6-year-olds on the weekends. The electric cars are self-drive and remote control, so parents can join in too! Additional plans for this year include renovating the pond and installing a water feature, along with some additional lighting for night golf in autumn.
We have ample free parking and the lowest prices in town. Please come along and experience our enchanting little course before everyone finds out! Open every day from 10am (weather dependent). Check out www.enchantedforest.nz for photos, prices and last entry times.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
