An unpaid balance of just $1000 on your credit card could incur an interest charge of up to $200 for the month. The next month you will have to pay $1200 or incur interest on this as well. Yes interest on interest!
The interest free period on credit cards can range from 0 to 180 days and interest rates can range from 12% to more than 20%.
Make sure your credit card is paid off in full every month, if you sometimes struggle to do this than make sure that you have the cheapest rates you can find.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
