Help clean up Wellington Harbour this Sunday!
The annual Wellington Harbour Clean Up is on this Sunday 14th January and we could use your help! Join us from 10am to 2pm at Frank Kitts Park. Scuba divers from Ghost Fishing NZ will be hauling rubbish out of the harbour. Support is needed on the surface to de-critter the garbage so that our harbour inhabitants can be returned safely to the water.
The amazing team at Hell Pizza will be delivering piping hot pizza to keep our hungry harbour helpers happy! Every person who registers for the clean up at the tent on the day will receive a voucher for a FREE DOUBLE PIZZA! Some Ts & Cs apply, see your voucher for details.

The Wellington Harbour Clean Up (previously Educate to Eliminate harbour clean) has been running in Wellington since 2009. We aim to reduce the amount of litter entering the harbour through education around how it gets there, what it is and how to keep it out. We do this through the harbour clean up by bringing the rubbish and the marine life to the surface for all to see, then return the critters to a cleaner home.
