Healthy Homes Bill passed into law
Parliament passed the Government's Healthy Homes Guarantee Bill last week. While this is a great initiative to keep tenants warm and healthy, it would be a shame to see this place an unnecessary cost burden on landlords. Many private landlords and even some investors may struggle to find funding to upgrade their properties, potentially resulting in selling it (which means another rental down), or increasing rents as the costs to own increase.

Please support Mary Potter Hospice's Appeal this May. On Thursday 16 and Saturday 18 May there'll be close to a thousand volunteers wearing Mary Potter Hospice bibs and holding collection buckets across the streets of Wellington, Porirua, and Kāpiti.
