restaurant dining
Just a heads up to all my neighbors re dining at Thai Orewa. I took a party of 10 for a meal here on 18.7.2017. One of our party has had a stomach bypass and, consequently, a small appetite. After a few spoonsful, she asked to take the remainder of her meal home. When she got home, she found she had a containerful of rice only.Always check your container before leaving the restaurant. I have been back and told staff, who offered me a replacement meal on the spot but that was no benefit to my guest, who came from Helensville especially for the meal.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
