Ferrymead Lions Club

Bernard from Sumner

Did you know that Ferrymead Lions Club donates about $15,000 to good causes in a year, much of that to local organisations, such as schools, the fire service and the Surf Lifesaving Club ($500 Iris Mead Award earlier this week - see photo.) However, Sumner is poorly represented in the club. We need more influence to tap into the club's resources. You don't even need to become a full member, although it's free for the first year. You can simply contact one of the membership committee to register your interest and /or become a Volunteer Helper. Michael Goldschmidt 3845399 or Hugh Curry 3811663 or Peter Payne 3845306 or simply search Ferrymead Lions Club to browse our website for more information.
