Piano and Vocal Lessons

Stephanie from Mount Eden

Hi Neighbours! My name is Stephie and I am currently working as an itinerant music teacher (piano/vocals/brass) in a highschool; a piano accompanist to children's choirs; and as a jazz singer for a couple of local bands. Before that I spent a year and a half teaching piano and vocals in a music centre. I have recently moved to Mt Eden and am in the process of setting up my own music studio, which will be ready for use by next week. I can teach a range of styles and genres including classical and popular piano, music theory, improvisation and comping, basic jazz techniques, musical theatre, jazz and contemporary vocals. Piano and singing are my main strengths but I can also teach beginner trumpet/cornet and ukulele. I have experience teaching all ages (from 6-60+) and levels from beginner to grade 5 (I have a lot of experience teaching young beginners especially). Every student is different therefore I like to tailor lessons to the individual's needs and interests. My fees are very affordable at $40 per hour, with lessons being 30-60 minutes. Please send me a message if interested in booking a trial lesson or if you have any general questions. I would love to hear from you!
