YWCA Auckland is short on Mentors for this year and we need your help! As a mentor not only do you play a huge role in the life of young woman you will equally benefit from the experience. It is an opportunity to learn about other cultures and network with like-minded women. As a mentor you will be holding the door open for younger women to reach their full potential, and you will come away with unique experiences that enrich your own own life. Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
