Where to donate baked goods?

Renee from Matakatia - Tindalls Beach

Hi neighbors

So, I'm purging my cupboards and fridge of all my baking ingredients while I'm in the process of losing weight that I've put on. I absolutely love to bake so I thought "maybe I can use all this stuff and bake a bunch and donate it somewhere that could use it" so that's what I wanna do.

I'm from Canada and while I'm a resident and have been here for three and a half years I'm not familiar with all the charities, shelters, good Will's, etc and where they're located.

I'd love to hear your suggestions for where I could drop off the baked goods (totally free of charge). Doesnt matter where as long as it's anywhere in the Auckland area (including rodney and north shore).

Thank you.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
