Wainui’s Father’s Day carvery buffet

Greetings sons and daughters of fathers everywhere. We hope you’re able to join with family and friends this Father's Day on 2nd September for some food and cheer. The perfect venue to celebrate such a great day is at the Wainui Golf and Function Centre’s main restaurant and lounge “The View”.

Beginning at 12 noon with the last sitting at 4:00 pm, Dad and all his tribe can feast off chef Darby’s carvery buffet. All Dads receive a cold pint or glass of wine on arrival, so be sure to reserve your spot by calling 09 444 3437 or email fandb@wainui.online

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
