Loving Home Needed for Merlin & Avalon ASAP!!

Sharon from Gulf Harbour

Hello Neighbours,

We need your help to find a loving home for these 2 beautiful, friendly cats. Merlin and Avalon are brother and sister approx. 7yrs old. They were brought out to NZ from the UK and have been living in Auckland. Their owners have just moved to Taranaki and couldn’t find a rental that allowed cats! So, they have been left with The New Zealand Cat Foundation (TNZCF) in Kumeu!!

I had my first meeting with them today and spent some time trying to take some good photos. They are gorgeous, both super friendly, very vocal and love attention! Merlin is the tabby (male), Avalon is the black (female). They are both of slender build with an Abyssinian look about them. They are healthy and they will have a vet check before rehoming. They will make wonderful companions!

If you know of anyone who could offer these gorgeous cats a loving permanent home, please email me ASAP shamor8@gmail.com or call/text me 021 388778.

The NZCF have an amazing facility where they are currently taking care of over 150 rescued cats and are at full capacity. They are always looking for reliable volunteers to help with the running of The Cat Sanctuary. Please check out their website www.thenzcatfoundation.org.nz... or contact me for more information.

We would really appreciate your help! :)
Thank you
Sharon

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
