Surrogate Grandparents on TVNZ Breakfast

Jo Hayes from

My non profit Surrogate Grandparents - New Zealand was started because of the feedback that I received on this and other local pages when I first had the idea last year....well we have come a long way since then...BUT we still need your help to make it work!

Please consider donating the cost of one cup of tea/coffee to help us to REALLY get it rocking and rolling via our PledgeMe campaign here. www.pledgeme.co.nz...

If everyone on this page donated just a few dollars, it would really, really mean so much, so please, please consider helping us!

If you are not able to donate right now, but are interested in either becoming a Surrogate Grandparent or you would like one - please check out our website for more details www.surrogategrandparents.org.nz...

This morning I had the honour, along with my surrogate mum, Susan Doak, of being interviewed on TVNZ Breakfast about the cause and what we are hoping to achieve - for those of you who may have missed it, please enjoy!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
