Ormiston ReStore Charity Shop (HabitatAuckland)

On the Habitat for Humanity's Op Shop tour! Saturday 5th August Bookabus will be chauffeuring 30 ladies to 3 of our ReStores at Ormiston, Panmure and Pukekohe. Our own interior designer, Marilyn Boe, will be your guide and is looking forward to helping you create the home of your dreams by shopping well for less. Bring your fabric and paint samples with you.

Tickets are $49 and include lunch at Cafe Palazzo in Karaka with a glass of wine/tea or coffee. Spaces are limited though so book TODAY through Eventfinda or phone 0221239536.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
