Looking for a dog sitter in our home. Unfortunately the person we had has taken ill , so we urgently need to find a replacement. We have a little yorkie cross silky . She is a very lovable little dog and loves human company. We will need the sit from 10th May to 4th June.

Red … View moreTake on Red Cross Journey and challenge yourself to walk in the shoes of a volunteer responding to a disaster or a former refugee family seeking safety. Follow their journey, hear their stories and make a difference for people in your community and around the world.
How does it work?
Red Cross Journey is all about walking in someone else’s shoes. Choose a journey to follow, clock 10,000 steps each day between 8 May and 8 June and get people to sponsor you.
Along the way, you’ll receive updates marking your milestones and sharing more about your chosen journey.
By taking part and fundraising, you’ll be helping Red Cross do good things across New Zealand and around the world.
Which journey will you take?
Choose to walk Disaster Welfare and Support Team volunteer Kath’s journey and cover 240km during the month – that’s about 10,000 steps a day – or get a team together and follow the Tamim family's route to a safer life, covering 1,000km.
Registrations are now open. Sign up and make every step count!
There will be more options for playing sport at Deep Creek Reserve in Torbay once the existing sports field is redeveloped.
Auckland Council has scheduled work to start in October 2017 that will transform the upper reserve sports field from soil to a fully-drained sand-carpet turf.
