Teaching is not only about knowledge and skills but the desire to empower potential and make a difference. NZTA rego scam

Kathleen from Opotiki District

Yet another scam has come my way this time by email. On looking at it, it looks like a genuine email from the NZTA, IT IS NOT. If you look at the email address you will see @nzta.info this is a scam phishing address, they want your details. Any email address from NZTA ends with @nzta.govt.nz. DO NOT CLICK ON RENEW LINK. I have reported it to both netsafe and NZTA. They have confirmed it to be a scam. Once again if in doubt go to the genuine website. If you have clicked on the email or are worried get in touch with your bank, NZTA, or police.
