A dad and his two daughters are still missing after going hiking in Lower Hutt.

A search and rescue operation ran all night in a bid to locate the family of three, who left Lees Grove in Wainuiomata at 12pm on Tuesday with the intention of walking in Days Bay.

The 50-year-old father and his two daughters, aged 14 and 11, were due to return home at 3.30pm, police said.

But when they hadn't returned home by 6pm, police were contacted by a concerned family member.

We are offering them to our supporters for a suggested koha donation of $7 for the 1 x litre jars and $5 for the .5 litre jars - we are happy to offer a discount if buying more than a couple. They come with metal screw on bands and seals and are in pristine condition. Any funds raised will go to a community effort near where our donor lives.

Celebrating Poet Laureate Selina Tusitala Marsh
In collaboration with the Oceania Arts Collective and students of Va’aomanū Pasifika at Victoria University, Le Moana Director Tupe Lualua will present a series of performances at the National Library, in response to the Poet Laureate of 2017-2019 Selina Tusitala Marsh.

The live performances of dance, music and poetry are a collection of original works created and devised by emerging Pacific Artists.

Tupe Lualua has curated this collection as a response to Selina Tusitala Marsh’s iconic and award winning 'Fast Talking P I'.

About Tupe Lualua
Tupe was awarded the Pacific Dance Artist in residence with Pacific Dance New Zealand in 2013 and again in 2015, she was a mentor for the Pacific Dance New Zealand choreographic lab in 2015 and again in 2017.

Tupe danced for French Choreographer Regine Chopinot in Wellington, Auckland, Japan and New Caledonia, she performed in the Auckland Arts Festival 2016 season of Marama with The Conch and featured in the critically acclaimed White Guitar.

She continues to create works under the umbrella of Le Moana as well as producing Auckland based choreographer Tupua Tigafua.

The Government has proposed a sweeping fuel-efficient vehicle policy that would make some cars up to $8000 cheaper - while others would be $3000 more expensive.

The "feebate" scheme wouldn't cost the taxpayer anything, instead using money gained by putting a fee on imported high-emissions cars in order to make imported hybrids, electric cars, and other efficient vehicles cheaper with a subsidy.
