Local vaccination rates in Central Wellington and Aro Valley
The Ministry of Health today released data showing Covid-19 vaccination rates by suburb. In Central Wellington and Aro Valley, the percentage of the eligible population to have received at least one vaccination is 90.5 and 90.8 per cent. And 40.7 and 40.5 per cent have the second dose.
This compares to a national average of 77.92% for first doses and 49.72% for second doses.
The Government says “it’s never been more urgent” to get vaccinated and has announced a national day of action on Saturday, October 16. So, book your jab online at bookmyvaccine.covid19.health.nz or call 0800 28 29 26.
