Re-opening on Saturday 20 June!

We’re very pleased to let you know that the toy library will be open from Saturday 20 June! 10am to 12pm.

WCC is cleaning the community centre and the toy library committee will be cleaning toys and our equipment next week.

A reminder that we will be extending all memberships for the period that we have been closed.

We hope to see you on the 20th.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
