⚠ PLANNED WATER OUTAGE – TUESDAY 5 MAY WANUIOMATA⚠
We are connecting a new service into the water supply network in the area. This means we have to turn off the supply between 10am and 2pm, tomorrow (Tues 5 May) affecting water supply to Wise Street, Craigie Way and Jack Vaughan Grove in Wainuiomata.
We recommend affected properties fill up containers with water before 10am and avoid running your dishwasher and washing machine during this time. When the water supply is turned back on, it’s a good idea to open a cold tap slowly then let it run for a minute or so to clear any air bubbles that may have entered the system. Air can cause the water to turn a milky colour, but this won’t affect the taste, and should clear quickly.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this outage and will update you if any of the above should change.
