Your rivers need your voice! Join us TODAY or TOMORROW for a Bankside BBQ and a chat about the proposed Te Kāuru Floodplain Management Plan on the Waipoua River bank upstream of State Highway Bridge 2. We will be there from 10:00am till 2:00pm on both the days. There will be a BBQ on the go and activities for the kids, so swing by and say hi.

Alternately, you may like to meet the Te Kāuru project team at the Wairarapa Farmers’ Market in Farrier’s carpark at the north end of Masterton TODAY from 9:00am – 1:00pm to answer all your questions about the proposed Te Kāuru Floodplain Management Plan.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
