Sincerest thanks to our sponsors and the general public who donated goods to KCA in the month of November 2019.
In the month of November our volunteers packed and redistributed 15,255.95kgs (over 15.2 tons) of food in the Greater Wellington region (Hutt, Wellington City and Porirua). Plus 174 banana boxes of clothing, shoes, and homewares plus chest of drawers, baby bath, baby stroller x 2, pram and highchair.
This stock was shared with agencies such as Salvation Army Porirua Foodbank, Salvation Army Lower Hutt Foodbank, St Vincent de Paul Porirua Foodbank, St Annes Pantry Foodbank, Newlands Foodbank, Natone Park School, Porirua Activity Centre to name a few.
We are 2 young professionals working in Central Wellington looking for a third person to join our flat fam in Karori! We enjoy cooking, the outdoors, and a good yarn!
We will be moving into the new place from the 31st of Jan, but are happy to provide photos from the original flat listing until available for viewing! The room is $205/week plus expenses. There is plenty of off-street parking, and it is close to bus routes!
Please message me with a bit about yourself - would love to hear from you!
The debate is on about which is NZ's second largest city - Christchurch or Wellington - and it all comes down to where you consider the border to be. So, if you live in the Hutt, Porirua, Kāpiti and Wairarapa, what do you say? Are you a Wellingtonian?
Police are looking for 15-year-old Joanne Coles who was last seen in Petone on September 30. Have you seen her?
