Blue Ocean Yoga (Aro Valley & Brooklyn) - Saturday 21 March 2020 (Covid-19)

Jenn from Brooklyn

Kia ora

With the the information we have available as of yesterday, I would like to offer our regular classes on Saturday 21 March 2020 (Aro Valley @ 9 am & Brooklyn @ 10.30 am). However, I would like to reduce the numbers attending to ensure we are maintaining good social distancing practices (2 meters). For Aro Valley, I will limit the class size to a max of 15 people and for Brooklyn, class size to 20 people.

In an attempt to make this available, requesting that you contact me directly to register your space for the specific location by 5pm today (providing your contact number/email - first in/first served). I will then confirm with those registered this evening (advise others once the spaces are filled). Once confirmed, I would like to offer payments to be made by A/P to limit the use of cash.

If registering to attend, please note information below:

If you have recently returned from overseas, please follow the guidelines as per Ministry of Health/Government to self-isolate for 14 days (from the date in which you arrived in the country
Practicing good coughing/sneezing etiquette by directing to your elbow or using a tissue (disposing of straight away)
Washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap/water and drying them thoroughly before and after your class (also before eating, after coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose)
Try your best to not touch your face
If you are unwell, please refrain from attending the class
Please think of those in our community that may have compromised immune systems, are pregnant, elderly and/or more susceptible

Just to note, should circumstance change as per advice provided by the government and or MoH, we may have to cancel the classes. I will keep you informed accordingly. As an alternative and should it be possible, I will try to make a class available for Saturday online (tbc).

For additional information, please go to Blue Ocean Yoga (facebook). Alternatively, should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in contact.

Kind regards
Jenn

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
