Under Milk Wood at Circa Theatre

Sales & Marketing Manager from Circa Theatre

From the pen of Dylan Thomas comes the lyrical masterpiece Under Milk Wood - an unforgettable journey to sleepy seaside Welsh village of “Llareggub” (read it backwards) where you will meet the eccentric townsfolk and learn their dreams, disappointments and desires.

"To miss it would be a great tragedy… Whoever is tired of Llareggub is tired of being human. I would also say that we live in an age when language has been flattened out by woeful standard prose, inept broadcasting, social media ranting and corporate ratspeak. Thomas packs his lines with devastating literary power and sends them into battle. We may not see his like again." – Theatreview

Now taking new students for term 4!

Larissa from Brooklyn

Hi neighbours! My name is Larissa King and I have been teaching singing and songwriting and directing choirs in schools since completing my bachelor of music in 2012.
I have worked with ages 5 - Adult in primary schools, high schools and tertiary institutes around Auckland and Tauranga.

I have recently moved to Wellington and will be running Private lessons from a studio in Brooklyn.

I teach contemporary vocals using the Estill vocal technique which is fun, practical and sees amazing results. I also run a 2-term long beginner songwriting course for children aged 10 and over where we break down and learn what makes a great song (hooks, melody, lyrics writing, guitar, percussion, recording) and your child comes away with a recorded demo of the song we write over the course. (some singing experience required).

If you are at all interested in grabbing a slot for either singing or songwriting for term 4 or have any general questions - Please send me a message!
