Happy Waitangi Day

Chris from Hataitai

Happy Waitangi Day everyone. Let's take a moment to celebrate what we have in Aotearoa New Zealand: a peaceful, safe and largely prosperous nation where indigenous Maori culture can be celebrated, and the benefits that each culture that is newer to this land - English, Asian, Pacifica and so on - have brought to this country can be acknowledged. As Fred Dagg used to sing, "we don't know how lucky we are".
