Oriental Bay & Freyberg Beach closed for sand redistribution
In preparation for summer, we'll be shifting some sand from Freyberg Beach to Oriental Bay. The beaches will be closed from today (23 Oct) until 25 Oct. While the redistribution work happens Freyberg Beach lawn will be fenced off and the entranceways to the main beach will have barriers plus security staff on site. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
