New ambulance for Wellington Free
Wellington Free Ambulance's Chief Executive wrote to us and said:
"Thank you so much for this very generous donation towards a new emergency ambulance. We are incredibly grateful for New Zealand Community Trust's commitment to supporting us for the last three years with vital funds towards emergency ambulances.
"Is it thanks to the generosity of organisations like yours that every year we can answer over 100,000 calls, respond to over 50,000 emergency call outs, travel over 2 million kilometres around the region. Ambulance 488 and 489, the last two ambulances you helped fund, are out there as you read this helping people in their hour of need.
"When people ask what makes Wellington Free Ambulance so unique, I reply that it is the people and orgranisations across the Greater Wellington and Wairarapa region that make it special, organisations like New Zealand Community Trust. The generosity of the community makes our work possible,
"Thank you for helping us provide the best possible care to everyone in our region who needs us."
