Letter drops
Good morning
I am aware of several letters that have been posted in various letter boxes around the Lyall Bay/Kilbirnie/Rongotai community over the past few months. The content of these letters allege that a resident in Miller Place, Lyall Bay, is dealing drugs from their address. Some of the letters have also referred to a Police Officer who is assisting this resident with their drug dealing activities.
I would like to reassure the community that there is no evidence to support this allegation and I would like the assistance of the community in identifying the person/s responsible for posting this letter.
If you have any information that may assist then please contact me on (04) 387 5706 or by email hamish.blackburn@police.govt.nz
Thanks

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
Best wishes - Michael
