Winter knitting sale and "Learn to Knit" at the Karori Arts and Crafts Centre
We are holding our Winter Warmers sale next week (June 7th and 8th). It's a great time to stock up on hand made knitted beanies, scarves, jerseys, gloves and more.
Also, and for only $10 you can join our 'Learn to Knit' session, get a ball of wool and a set of needles. Knitters will learn to make a scarf, headband or hand warmers. (Bookings essential! www.kacc.org.nz...)

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
