Truck Parking Nuisance Ashton Fitchett Drive
Is anyone else bothered by the truck parked daily on Ashton Fitchett Drive just south of the blind corner as you drive down the road?
I have complained to council (claim number 2553335) over how dangerous its proximity to the corner makes driving in either direction.
They sent a parking services employee yesterday but as it is not parked illegally there is no infringement. However they can deal with it as inconsiderate parking. First I was told a parking officer would visit sometime next week! When I asked to speak to someone in authority they said (after being left on hold) that they would visit last night. The truck was not on site when they visited. Another neighbour complained to council three weeks ago with no satisfactory result. There have been many accidents in the past due to speed and cars parked around the corner without this size of obstruction involved.
As the truck is parked there this morning, I have called again. It has been very misty this morning adding to the issue. I do have the option of going to the police over this, just wondering if there is any support out there for that?
