Wild About Reading: Summer Reading Challenge

June from Wellington City Libraries and Community Spaces

At this time of the year everything just starts to whirlwind into a wild frenzy and before you know it Christmas is upon us! But how to amuse the kids over the summer?
Come down to your local Wellington City Library and pick up our Summer Reading Challenge booklet. It’s packed full of great books to read for ages 5 – 13 years and better still once the kids have read a book, they go to the kids page on our website, write a review for our Kids Club and win prizes!  Don’t have time to pick up a booklet? Then head the kids page on our website: wcl.govt.nz/kids/ and download a copy. The Summer Reading Challenge runs from 1st of December to 31st of January and with over 60 titles to read, they’ll be no time to get bored this summer!
PS: I know the Challenge is for kids, but don’t be surprised if you find yourself reading some of the books as well!
