I am going to be holding parenting talks for families in our community in conjunction with early childhood centres and kindergartens. The talks will be an opportunity for parents to learn more about a particular area of parenting, whilst at the same time fundraising for the centre.
I'd like to know what topics you'd like to know more about? So that I can cater to the needs of parents in our community. I'd love it if you could vote in the poll below. Thanks!
If you would like one of these talks to be held at your centre then please email me at parentinglittlelearners@gmail.com
Cheers
Kirsty

Hungry, wet, cold and stressed is no way to start the school day (if it doesn’t stop them from getting to school) but for over 295,000 Kiwi children living in hardship that is the reality. This can impact their educational growth and lead to a lifelong pattern of underachievement. There is a way to break this cycle; by providing simple things like food, shoes, socks and raincoats, so kids can arrive at school ready and able to learn. KidsCan's aim is to prevent children in hardship from becoming adults in hardship by giving them the start in life they deserve.

We found out that some participants have some pretty wacky costume ideas like; ‘Donald Trump', ‘an inflatable flamingo’ a ‘popcorn vendor’ and ‘grumpy grannies’. Comment below with what you'll be dressing up as this year!

Hello friendly neighbours.
Miramar North Kindergarten are currently trying to transform their outdoor learning space. Does anyone have access to cable drums they could donate to help create a fun interactive space for the children? We are happy to pick up if needed.
Many thanks.

Ms BBQ has been part of the family for a number of years, but sadly its owner has fallen for another. While still able to cook the most amazing meat, veg, pizza, crayfish and rotisserie foods there are a couple of known problems... The handle could do with some attention (an easy fix for someone with practical knowledge, ie not the current owner) The ignition system fails to spark the owners interest, but a match sure lights the old flame again.
This beloved BBQ would like to be paid some attention and will feed your desire for many years to come.
Currently Ms BBQ is standing on the pavement looking longingly at all the potential new owners who drive past.
She is all yours if you swing past 194 Onepu Road with a means of transport.
