This new production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber masterpiece will visit 16 cities nationwide in April and May. As well as, being the first major theatrical performance at the $127.5 million refurbished Christchurch Town Hall it will also visit Auckland and Wellington and many of the larger regional theatres throughout New Zealand - details below.

Since its world premiere, CATS has been presented in over 30 countries and has been seen by over 73 million people worldwide. CATS is based on Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot. The musical tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make what is known as "the Jellicle choice" and decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life.

Introducing our next speaker Kii (Winston) Small, for ‘Healing through Storytelling’ Session 2.
Wednesday 6th March 9.30am – 10.30am

Kii (Winston) Small is the Co-Founder of Mapmo and the creator of the youth storytelling operation, The SaySoProject.
Originating from Kaitaia, Kii came to Wellington to pursue an education at Victoria University in 2015.
Since then, Kii has had the pleasure of working alongside the Rt. Hon. Winston Peters during Youth Parliament, and other ‘game changers’ in the Youth Development sector.
Storytelling is an under-utilised tool in New Zealand that can solve our most harrowing, yet simple issues.
Kii’s mission is to provide an innovative platform for young people to contribute to the working solutions addressing the issues that affect them the most in Aotearoa. In his spare time, Kii is a board member on the MYD Partnership Fund Board and the Co-Editor in Chief at Salient Magazine.
Last week we had a lovely session with Arihia Latham, so many of us were very grateful for the stories and conversations that evolved.

Don’t forget to tell everyone there is free Art lessons with Ilona @ Raukawa community Centre, Saturday mornings 11-1pm 

Check out our ‘Whats on’ attached for more details of weekly events.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Knowing your neighbours is one thing, but actually spending time together is to write a much richer story together... an opportunity to have fun, learn more about each other, and recognise that the strings that connect us often run much longer than just the length of our streets.

This month is all about bringing your community together and having a great time! We want March to be all about celebrating the connections we have while making new ones along the way. As we all know, what makes a neighbourhood great isn't the houses and cars, gardens and streets - it's the people who share their presence and aroha with each other.

A wonderful way to take part is to participate in Neighbours Day Aotearoa which is celebrating it's 10th anniversary from March 22nd to 31st. To help you get started, we love their suggestions for 10 little and 10 big ways to get involved. (link below)

Let us know how you're celebrating this month by tagging us in your posts + using the following hashtag so we can see what you get up to:
