Hi everyone! My daughter is raising money for an incredible opportunity: a school trip to China in 2027. She's working hard to make this dream a reality, and I am helping her with her journey. We are selling our beautiful handmade crafts to help cover the costs.
The items are: Kawakawa balm $10, Peppermint lip balm $2.5, Bath bombs $3, and much more.
Each item is made with care, and all proceeds will go directly toward her trip. Your support would mean the world to her and help her experience a different culture and new adventures.

You can also purchase Worm tea (1L $2 or 3L $5) as well as a Kombucha scoby starter kit (Scoby+tea) $5
We are also working on some beautiful decorative candles as well as Resin art. Please keep an eye out for those 🙂

If you're interested in helping out and getting a unique craft in return, please send me a message!
You can also visit her Give a Little page, every dollar will be greatly appreciated

These great guys set fire to stages and fill hearts with hope with their energetic and relatable alternative indie folk songs. Proud albino frontman Albi (Chris Dent), Pascal Roggen and Michael Young have crafted a stage show brimming with energy yet with pauses for reflection. The trio has a huge sound created simply by acoustic guitar, electric violin, double bass and three voices. Since 2014, Albi & the Wolves have gone from strength to strength touring Australia, New Zealand and Rarotonga. In 2018, they took home the Best Folk Artist Award at the NZVMAs. Fundraising now for their World Tour! Whether it’s connection through dance, singing or laughter, their performances inspire audiences to keep coming back for more. Come along for the special House Concert vibe. Not for profit, supporting our dedicated musicians. Teas, coffee and snacks provided. Hello / Kia ora

The Greater Brooklyn Residents Association Inc invites you to their two candidates meetings - tomorrow and Thursday this week. An excellent chance to fine tune your votes.

Firstly, tomorrow Tuesday the 23rd of September, we host the Mayoral candidates meeting at 7pm.

Secondly, on Thursday the 25th of September, we host the Southern Ward, Maori and Greater Wellington Regional Council candidates also at 7pm.

We will run both meetings as follows (the order may change as we fine tune the running of the evening closer to the time):

# 7pm (sharp!) - Welcome to the candidates and audience, rules of the evening (introduction, no water pistols, respect for candidates and other members of the audience)
# candidates will all get asked some questions – requiring a yes/no answer or a very short explanation.
# Then each candidate will get around 2 possibly 3 minutes to talk.
# Then we will have some limited questions from the floor.

ACCESS TO THE VENUE

The venue is the Brooklyn Community Centre, 18 Harrison Street, Brooklyn.

The #7 and #17 buses all stop at the hub or near the intersection of Harrison Street and Cleveland Street. These buses come from the railway station or from Kowhai Park (#17) or Kingston (#7).

The #29 and #39 buses come from somewhere around/near Island Bay or Owhiro Bay.

There is a fence you can lock your bikes to. There is very little vehicle parking in Harrison Street. So if you are close enough we encourage you to walk to the venue. If coming by car, plan to park elsewhere and walk. We can’t reserve parking for you all at the centre.

We look forward to you exercising your democratic duties, in a positive and respectful manner.

Yours sincerely,

Carl Savage
